Additional Processing
Information:
Centrifugal
Extraction:
Bring to full speed for 1 - 2 minutes and release.
Hydraulic
Extraction:
250 PSI pressure for 3 minutes and release.
Drying: Compared to
cotton wet mops, Synergy most should require significantly less drying time. Due to load size
and
other variables, drying times may vary but you can start by tumbling these mops
for 8 minutes at 120° F. Adjust
time
accordingly.
Handling/Processing:
1.) The final
rinse water should be titrated to determine the amount of active alkali. If
higher than 50ppm over tap, an
additional rinse will be necessary. To insure the total removal of excess
alkali, souring may be desired. This should be
done according to the recommendations of the supplier of the souring chemical.
2.) All of the processing
temperatures are very critical. High washing and drying temperatures can
severely damage the fibers.
3.) Bleach is not recommended.
If used, amount should not exceed the equivelent of 1 quart of 1% concentrate/
100 lbs. - 20 ml/kg
of mops at 10.0 - 10.5 pH.
Additional
Longevity Tips:
1.) Rinses should be at low level
and the final two rinses should be with cold water.
2.) Careful initial processing is
essential for maximum mop head life.
3.) Separate all Synergy wet mops
from other mops and do not exceed 140° F.
