Golden Star is committed to environmental stewardship. As a member of the United States Green Building Council we embrace sustainable and environmentally-preferred products and practices. We are constantly looking for ways to refine manufacturing processes to both reduce and recycle waste whenever possible. To support this environmental commitment and to help those who partner with us to be more earth friendly, we are the only manufacturer that produces dust mops containing up to 60% post-consumer recycled fibers and cotton and cotton-blend mops containing up to 93% post-consumer recycled fibers.

Golden Star is most proud of our partners that are Worldwide Responsible Accredited Production (WRAP) certified. WRAP is an independent, non-profit organization dedicated to the certification of lawful, humane and ethical manufacturing throughout the world. WRAP's 12 principles are based on generally accepted international workplace standards, local laws and workplace regulations which encompass human resource management, health and safety, environmental practices, and compliance including import/export and customs compliance and security standards.
